Frequently asked questions
Which prop firms accept US traders in 2026?▾
Most futures prop firms accept US traders — including Apex Trader Funding, Topstep, TradeDay, Tradeify, My Funded Futures, Take Profit Trader, Bulenox, Alpha Futures, Lucid Trading, Leeloo Trading, Earn2Trade, Phidias, BluSky and Elite Trader Funding. On the Forex/CFD side, US traders are usually limited to specific non-MetaTrader platforms (TradeLocker, Match-Trader, DXtrade or TradingView). Firms like FundedNext, Blueberry Funded, FXIFY and Blue Guardian have suspended new US Forex/CFD sign-ups.
Why are MT4 and MT5 blocked for US prop traders?▾
MetaQuotes restricts US client access to MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 after pressure from US regulators. This is why most CFD prop firms route US traders onto TradeLocker, Match-Trader, DXtrade, cTrader or TradingView instead. Futures prop firms are not affected because they use platforms like NinjaTrader, Tradovate and Rithmic.
How often is this availability data updated?▾
Every entry on this page is pulled from each firm's own help centre, FAQ or Terms and Conditions and re-checked at least quarterly — most recently on June 28, 2026. Cards flagged with a warning have a conflicting or recently changed status that you should verify directly with the firm before paying for an evaluation.
What does "Available — with conditions" mean?▾
It means the firm accepts your country, but with restrictions you should know about before purchasing: a limited platform list (common for US Forex/CFD), region or state exclusions, residency rules, Sim-funded only, or payout-processor limitations. The note on each card explains the specific condition.
How this is built
Each firm's status is taken from its official help center, FAQ, or Terms & Conditions. "Available with conditions" usually means the country is accepted but limited to certain platforms (e.g., US traders blocked from MT5 / cTrader on CFD firms) or specific regions / states. Futures firms generally accept US traders; many forex/CFD firms restrict US platforms due to MetaQuotes and regulatory rules. PropFirmV is an independent comparison platform — availability data is not influenced by affiliate status.
